About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing group accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local legislation, and supporting the company’s financial operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and standards in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Manage and oversee group accounting tasks and processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports based on IFRS.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including filings, reporting, and tax deadlines.
- Coordinate and support statutory financial and tax audits.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy of financial data.
- (Ideally) Bring hands-on experience from a manufacturing or start-up business environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP principles.
- Experience with statutory audits and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
