Job Summary
MSM Greece is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its team in Lavrio. The Legal Counsel provides legal advice and support to the organization on a wide range of business and regulatory matters. This role helps manage legal risks, ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reviews and negotiates contracts, and supports business operations with practical legal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to management and business teams on corporate, commercial, employment, regulatory, and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage day-to-day wide range of contracts and agreements (e.g. services, works & supply contracts, employment agreements, NDAs, etc), and other legal documents.
- Support the development and maintenance of contract templates, policies, and legal workflows.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external law firms on contractual, employment, procurement, and project – related matters.
- Support corporate governance activities, including board and shareholder matters.
- Support the implementation of GDPR requirements and provision of assistance in the management of relevant requests.
- Review and monitor internal policies and procedures, and provide guidance on legal, compliance matters and industry-specific requirements.
Qualifications
Greek lawyer qualification.
- An LLM is a strong plus.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with focus in corporate and commercial law:
-preferably within a structured law firm environment handling international clients and/or
-within a corporate environment. In-house legal practice is considered a plus.
- Defence-industry related experience is a strong plus.
- DPO experience is considered a plus.
